Mia Dixon, Miss Cook County 2024 and a semi-finalist at Miss Illinois 2024, is a passionate advocate for promoting mental well-being in the digital age. As a titleholder and model, Mia has made it her mission to empower young people to navigate social media safely and mindfully. Through her platform, "A Queen's Digital Footprint," she has developed a comprehensive approach to promoting digital wellness, drawing from her extensive research, personal experiences, and engagement with youth across Illinois. Mia's dedication to creating resources and leading conversations aims to uplift and inspire the next generation to cultivate a positive online presence.
The Deliverables
In collaboration with Mia Dixon, I provided media coaching and best practices for interview questions, ensuring that she effectively communicates her message and engages her audience. I designed and developed the content for her workbook, which serves as a valuable resource for kids and teens seeking guidance on navigating social media safely. The workbook incorporates age-appropriate strategies, practical tips, and thought-provoking reflections to promote digital wellness. Additionally, I played a key role in developing events around "A Queen's Digital Footprint" initiative, creating an impactful platform for Mia to connect with young people and share her insights on maintaining a positive online presence. Through these deliverables, I supported Mia's mission to empower youth and foster a more mindful approach to social media.
